Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping Information
Orders are shipped to you from our manufacturing facility in Vermont and most ship via UPS / Fed Ex Ground service. Orders which contain certain arbors are shipped via Truck. Shipping charges are calculated in this manner:

Certain products must be shipped by truck and are charged at a rate of $150 each. These include: All Brant Point Arbors, all arbors 5' and larger, and all gates 4 1/2' and larger.

All other products are charged based on the total value of the order (less any flat rate items):

$0-$59 $13.00 shipping
$60-$99 $17.00
$100-$199 $22.00
$200-$499 $35.00
$500-$1000 $65.00
Over $1000 $95.00
When can I expect my order to arrive?
Your order arrival time depends on the UPS zone that you live in. Generally, it takes from 1 to 4 days. Orders containing arbors or other large, bulky items may take longer.

Return Information
At Nantucket Post Cap, we guarantee our products against any defects in workmanship for 90 days. Ours is a high-quality product at a reasonably low price and our customers deserve to be and must be fully satisfied. If you have any problems with any of our products, simply return them.

If you do find that you need to return an item from Nantucket Post Cap, please include the following information along with your returned merchandise:
Copy of the packing slip, which will provide us with the transaction number (order number)

Restocking Fee
