All of the wooden post sleeves and bottom post dressings here can be ordered in custom sizes and come unassembled. PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT YOU NEED WHEN ORDERING. All of the post sleeves and wood post bottom sleeves come unfinished. To ensure a long life outdoors, they must be painted or stained before installation.

What's the difference between a post cap and a finial?

	The post cap is literally a cap or hat that sits on top of a fence or gate post. Finials are decorative ornaments that sit on top of post caps.

	When shopping for post caps you will see that only some will accept a finial due to the cap design
